Liverpool agree deal for midfielder - reports

LIVERPOOL have reportedly handed a new deal to midfielder Kevin Stewart.

The 23-year-old ace has featured for the Reds five times in all competitions this season and the Daily Mail claim he has been rewarded for his efforts with an improved contract.
Stewart only agreed his last deal in February but Liverpool reportedly believe he warrants another bump in wages in reflection of his recent good form.

The ex-Tottenham academy star, who has had recent loan stints with Cheltenham, Burton Albian and Swindon, made 11 appearances for the club last term.
The Daily Mail add that Liverpool are also close to confirming new deals for highly-rated youngsters Ben Woodburn and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Exciting 17-year-old winger Woodburn is in line for his first professional contract while 18-year-old midfielder Alexander-Arnold has impressed as well.

Jurgen Klopp and co offloaded 14 players throughout the summer, bringing in around £75m.
The Reds boss trimmed down his squad to give the club’s youngsters a chance to show their skills.
Liverpool beat West Brom on Saturday and are currently joint-top of the Premier League table with Manchester City and Arsenal on goal difference.
Klopp will likely look to rotate his squad when they host Spurs in the EFL Cup tomorrow night, potentially handing some game-time to his impressive youngsters.
