Confirmed: The final 30 nominees for the 2016 Ballon d’Or

THE Ballon d’Or shortlist has been confirmed and it reads as a who’s who of the game’s finest players.

Plenty of Premier League based talents have made the shortlist, including players from Manchester CityManchester UnitedTottenham, Leicester and West Ham.
They are joined by stars from the Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A and the Portuguese Liga - with the winner to be announced on 13 December.
The award has split from FIFA this year, meaning there will be a separate FIFA World Player of the Year award as well.
