MANCHESTER UNITED and Manchester City could make an audacious move for Luis Suarez, according to stunning reports in Spain.
Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is interesting Man United and Man City according to reports
Sensational reports from Don Balon yesterday claimed the two Manchester clubs are ready to splash the cash on Suarez if he fails to reach an agreement with Barcelona over a new contract before the end of the season.
Manchester City's chief executive Ferran Soriano has reportedly already told Barcelona that they would only make an offer for the 29-year-old striker if Barcelona invited it.
The two clubs have a good relationship and Soriano is wary of not upsetting the Catalan club.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in Luis Suarez
Manchester United, however, are reportedly willing to make a massive offer that Barcelona would find hard to turn down, even if they do not want to sell Suarez.
The Uruguayan has a release clause of £180m and Don Balon says while United will not spend that much, they are willing to go up to a transfer fee of £135m for the forward.
Jose Mourinho reportedly sees Suarez as a perfect replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, whose form at Old Trafford has been far from impressive.

Suarez already has 10 goals in all competitions for his club this season, while Ibrahimovic only has six, and has only scored twice in his past 11 appearances for United.
While both Manchester clubs are reportedly interested in Suarez, they both know that the Uruguayan's preferred option would be to stay at Barcelona.
But should he fail to reach an agreement with the Barca hierarchy in contract talks, they believe he could be tempted by a move back to England.
