Top pundit: Man United should have signed this Chelsea star in the summer

MANCHESTER UNITED should have signed N'Golo Kante in the summer.

N'Golo Kante has been on fire since joining Chelsea

That's the view of Liverpool hero Jamie Redknapp.

The France international joined Chelsea in a £30m move from champions Leicester after their historic season.

Kante has hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge, impressing in Antonio Conte's 3-5-2 formation.

And pundit Redknapp reckons clubs will be kicking themselves after not signing the midfield maestro - none more so than United.

“You see the legs and the athleticism he's got, he's a great signing,” Redknapp said.

“There will be so many clubs thinking 'why didn't we sign him?'
