YOU WON’T believe what they look like now.
If you weren’t convinced about the power of make-up before, you will be now.
Young make-up artist Goar Avetisyan has been sending social media lovers into a frenzy with her double-take before and after photos.
Using a number of nifty tricks to conceal and contour, Goar manages to make her clients look like completely new women.
It’s not hard to see why the 22-year-old from Moscow, Russia, has amassed a dedicated following of 2.2million on Instagram.
Revealing how she achieves the jaw-dropping transformations, Goar shares short clips on Instagram showing her incredible process.
Performing her magic on a client, she begins by brightening the woman’s eyes with drops.
The stylist perfected the skin with foundation before using some nude eyeshadow as a base.
Goar glamorised the look by building up a dramatic smokey eye with metallic silver and dusky purple shades and a pair of thick fake lashes.
The beauty guru created a defined brow with a dark brown tone and topped off the romantic feel with a pretty pale pink pout.
In another video, she made a blonde model’s “problem skin” disappear by brushing on a cleansing and moisturising lotion and then applying a colour-correcting cream in a green hue to disguise the redness of the spots.
Next she swept on a layer of foundation that was slightly darker than her client’s skin tone and said it’s best to leave the make-up to set for five to 10 minutes before adding powder and blush.
And if that wasn’t impressive enough, she even made one woman’s “badly done” permanent eyebrow tattoos vanish.
Some of the make-up transformations apparently took up to 2.5 hours but Goar said the feeling she gets from helping women transform means it’s time well spent.
She said: “I can't even explain this feeling when you do a makeover for somebody and you make this person happy and more self confident.
“You help the person love themselves more.”
