DEBRIS found in sea near Greek Islands has been confirmed as being from missing EgyptAir MS804.
EgyptAir says objects discovered 50 miles southeast from where the plane disappeared is likely to be from its missing plane which had been flying from Paris to Cairo.
Search teams uncovered two pieces of debris from the downed flight this afternoon including lifejackets and plastic material.
Egyptian search planes are thought to have also spotted the two floating items, say Greek officials.
Search teams from Egypt, France and Greece have been combing the area 230 miles south of the island of Crete since early this morning.
The debris consists of large pieces of plastic that are white and red and they were seen incredibly close to where a transponder signal came from earlier.
The finds come has rumours swirled that a clip of the doomed plane coming down had been uploaded to YouTube.
