FINALLY: Leonardo DiCaprio won Best Actor at this year's Oscars
But the awards ceremony was plagued with controversy as there were no black nominees for the second year running.
According to Jamie Foxx, though, it didn't really matter that much.
The 48-year-old won Best Actor at the Oscars in 2004 for the movie Ray, so he knows how much the nod means.
And he told TMZ photographers that he was happy for .

He said: "My man Leo, I mean, come on man.
"Honorary black dude.
"Leo's the closest thing to Tyrone you can get.
"That's my man, I'm happy that he did his thing."
Jamie Foxx
HAPPY: Jamie Foxx said he is glad Leo won at the Oscars

The two Hollywood stars appeared alongside each other in Django Unchained in 2012 and it's clear they got on well.
Foxx continued: "I always joke with him, 'You are an honorary black man.'
"Titanic: he drowned.

"Black dudes don't swim in the ocean, you know."
So there you have it, while a black actor didn't win an Oscar last night, an 'honorary' one did according to Jamie.
Though we're not sure that does much to fix the ongoing diversity debate.
