Cattle rustlers have unleashed mayhem on farmers in a remote village during which two men were gruesomely murdered.

According to reports, two farmers were allegedly shot dead in their farms by suspected Fulani herdsmen at Agogo, Ashanti region in Ghana by 4pm yesterday. One other person who was with the two, reportedly escaped death after he went to fetch water while others worked.
The latest incident follows a long-drawn battle between residents and the herdsmen who have been accused of destroying farms and raping women in the area. The herdsmen also accuse the residents of killing their colleagues and shooting their cattle.
Meanwhile, the Agogo Youth Association (AYASS) has banned all forms of political activities in the town with immediate effect, following the disagreement between locals of the town and nomadic Fulani herdsmen.
Similarly, Nigeria is also battling with the menace of Fulani herdsmen who have raped women, maimed farmers and killed many others in recent times.
