Bare-breasted Brazilians storm beach in protest

A BEVY of bare-chested Brazilian beauties have invaded a popular beach — but it’s all for a good cause.
Dozens of women took over sunny Ipanema beach to parade their assets in front of the cameras on Monday.
The models — who are part of campaign group Toplessaco — are known for fighting for their right to strip off on the beach.
In a similar vein to the worldwide #freethenipple campaign, the group are angry that topless sun bathing is currently banned on in Rio de Janeiro.

Critics have slammed laws decreeing that women can’t strip off but men are welcome to strut their bare chests in the sun.
But this morning the protestors turned their efforts to promote awareness for another worthy cause — breast cancer awareness.
Standing under a banner reading – “No woman must live without breast", the sexy campaigners posed for the paps.

One busty lady even took the time for a rousing cold shower in the steamy Brazilian climate.
While today’s protest went without a hitch, there have been occasions where naked protests have taken a sour turn.
