WATCH: Mysterious 'levitating ghoul' revealed in unbelievable CCTV

A CURIOUS small figure has been caught on camera apparently gliding and levitating in a baffling security video.

Puzzling footage shows the humanoid form – estimated to be about 3ft tall – move backwards and forwards along a road with unnatural smoothness.

The "creature" then appears to take off and "float" off out of shock.

Stunned security guards watch in amazement as it then hovers back into shot and "lands".

Viewers have suggested it is an alien, goblin, balloon – or possibly a lost penguin.

The CCTV footage – shot in Diyarbakir, Turkey – has viewers scratching their heads.

Some have suggested it is fake but the thing – whatever it is – does appear to obey the normal rules of perspective in the video.

The two security guards shown watching the CCTV footage in the video are clearly confused.

Scott C Waring, of UFO Sightings Daily, said: "In the first six seconds of the video you can clearly make out that this object is half a metre tall, black and white and walking.

"Sure it can be a monkey, but how do you explain it hovering in the air?

"And panda bears don't fly.

"Only two possible answers: It's an alien or this was a prank."

One viewer comments: "You can see white light in the centre of the figure – the same white light that some UFOs are made of, so you know it's an alien for sure."

Another – from the city where the video was shot in eastern Turkey – suggests it is a devil or "jinn".

He writes: "I can confirm it isn't a hoax.

"Also the talkings in the recordings are totally authentic.

"They are talking about what may be the origin of the 'thing'.

"From my point of view and experience this is a jinn."

But another says: "Looks like a penguin."
