TOP politician Priti Patel has slammed David Cameron’s new EU deal, saying it won’t tackle sky-high levels of immigration.
SLATED: Patel has torn down the Prime Minister's new immigration deal
The Tory minister last week joined a host of Cabinet ministers who rejected the Prime Minister’s push to stay in the EU.
And Ms Patel has now launched a furious broadside at the pro-Brussels campaign, saying: “This is our opportunity to stand tall and put Britain first.”
But her strongest attack was saved for the Prime Minister's attempt to cut down on the number of migrants entering Britain.
SICK: PAtel says she thinks Brits are "sick to death" of the EU
Ms Patel went on to slate his attempt to stop EU migrants claiming benefits to stop the soaring numbers entering the UK.
The Employment Minister told the Sun: “It’s not going to make any difference at all.”
Patel, the daughter of Ugandan Indian migrants, says her parents were fleeing a brutal dictatorship – unlike some who are coming to Britain today believing the “state owes them something”.
MUTINY: Patel is just one of the ministers lining up to challenge Cameron's campaign
USELESS: The cabinet minister doesn't think the new deal will curb the UK's immigration woes
Meanwhile the Cabinet member is convinced that Brits are “sick to death of the EU”.
She added: “We have a once in a generation opportunity to change Britain’s place in the world for the better, to put Britain first, to move away from the dead hand of Europe.
"Britain is an amazing country. I’m absolutely convinced we are going to win.
