Emmanuel Emenike has said he is delighted to join 'great club' West Ham and can't wait to play as his team-mate, Victor Moses reveals how he encouraged him with the switch to the premier league.
While speaking with West Ham's official website, Super Eagles star forward, Victor Moses has disclosed that he encouraged compatriot, Emmanuel Emenike to make a loan move to the London club from his Turkish club, Fenerbahce during the January transfer window.
According to Moses who is also on loan from Chelsea:"He called me up and told me the club were interested in him. I told him 'You should come and play in the Premier League, West Ham are a family club, everyone here is friendly, we have a good manager here and the people are lovely. I said to him ‘Come and express yourself and you will do well."
Moses was confident Emenike will shine in the Premier League saying: "I firmly believe he will be good in the Premier League and for West Ham as well. Having a player such as him gives you that strength.
He’s always played upfront for the Super Eagles and hopefully he will come here and show everyone what he can do. His strengths? He’s quick and strong at the same time. With the Super Eagles we call him 'The Big Man' once he has the ball he has the strengths to go through players and he makes sure he wins his battles," Moses further stated.
