From the private jets to the reality star girlfriend, former Young Money rapper, Tyga, has shown how he carefully crafted his public persona to make fans envious of his flashy and fabulous lifestyle.
American rapper, Micheal Ray Stevenson, known by his stage name as Tyga, who was signed with Young Money/Cash Money Records, in a new shoot, has opened the doors of his luxury $40,000 a month rented mansion to DuJour magazine.
Featuring dramatic architecture, concrete walls, floor to ceiling glass windows and with amenities including a full size pool table, it made for a dramatic, if rather sparse, backdrop.
The 26-year-old's romance with Kim Kardashian's little sister, Kylie, has been a staple on the gossip pages. And while he did not mention her in his interview, Tyga told DuJour about his friendship with Kanye West, Kylie's brother-in-law.
'You learn something by just having a conversation with him. And he listens, and that’s the thing I do. I listen to everybody and then I take it and put my own thought on it. That’s just how life is. God puts us in places. It’s for you to make the decision whether you go left or right,' Tyga says.
He also compared himself to Tupac, saying: 'People didn't know what Tupac was doing. That's why he was so iconic. Before [the Internet], it was real superstars.
'I don't engage with people that much. You can't base your life off waking up every morning like, "What are people saying about me now?" Then I'd never stay in my creative headspace...I just want to put all my answers in the music.'
