A WWE wrestler was rushed to hospital after being knocked unconscious by a move gone disastrously wrong.
Footage from last night's Payback PPV shows the moment Simon Gotch tries to launch his rival, Enzo Amore, out of the ring.
But it goes horribly wrong as Enzo's head catches the bottom rope and snaps back, leaving him slumped motionless on the floor.
Gotch goes after his opponent, but the ref shoos him away and the commentators declare the accident "serious situation".
Updates posted on Twitter reveal that Amore escaped serious injury, being diagnosed with concussion by medics.
A photo was later shared by WWE showing the grappler released from hospital and giving the thumbs up.
Other wrestlers lined up to wish him well, with Christian tweeting: "Tough to watch injuries happen to anyone".
Stone Cold Steve Austin wrote: "I have just heard of Enzo being injured. I have heard he is moving his limbs. My thoughts are def with him."
