Woman hung herself in 'cry for help' after battling relationship insecurities

A WOMAN hanged herself because she could not cope with all her pals getting married.

An inquest heard Danielle Saul’s “cry for help” accidentally succeeded.
She had been suffering from depression and the situation got worse when she bumped into an ex-boyfriend on a night out and they did not get back together.
Danielle was found hanged three days later last June.

But the hearing concluded that her death was misadventure rather than suicide.
A post-mortem revealed Ms Saul had been drinking, raising fears she had “impulsively” made a “cry for help”.
Her mum Karen said: “At that time quite a number of her friends were getting married.
“She was going to hen parties and she was going to be a bridesmaid – and I think things got overloaded.”

The inquest in Manchester heard how Danielle, who lived in the city, secretly longed to settle down and marry.
But as her friends were tying the knot, the recruitment worker lived alone with a cat.
Coroner Jean Harkin said: “I don’t feel I have the evidence beyond all reasonable doubt that she intended to die.”
