Leicester star won't rule out Chelsea switch this summer

Defensive lynchpin Kante is understood to be a target for Chelsea, Arsenal and Juventus after a spectacular first season in England.

And after celebrating his 25th birthday on Tuesday by scoring after just eight minutes on his full debut for France, Kante admitted he could be tempted to quit Leicester if a big guns come calling.

He said: “I will fight for Leicester this season and next season we never know and we will see.

“At this moment I am focused on Leicester. We have to finish well this season but I don’t mind about [being linked with] the other clubs.”

Kante knows playing a big part in a shock league title success for the Foxes could clinch his place at Euro 2016 as well as a big money move.

He added: “Things have happened that I could never have imagined. It is unbelievable because we [Leicester] weren’t thinking about this at the start of the season.

“There are seven games left. We hope to win the league but it’s not finished.”
