GONE: Neville has been shown the door by Valencia
The Manchester United legend struggled to impress at the Spanish club following his appointment in December.
Recent reports claimed he'd last until the summer before being shown the door when his contract was up.
But the club have decided to act now and get rid of the England coach.
He's been replaced in the job by former Liverpool assistant manager Pako Ayestaran until the end of the season.
Valencia said in a statement: "Valencia Football Club has today terminated its contractual relationship with Gary Neville as first team coach.
"After carefully analysing the sporting situation, the Club has decided to make this change in the best interest for the Valencia Football Club overlooking the end of this season.
"The Club thanks Gary Neville for his work and wishes him the best of luck in the future.
"Consequently, the Club today named Pako Ayestaran as head coach until the end of the season."
Valencia are languishing in 14th place in the Spanish top flight, six points above the drop zone.
The club have won just three of their 16 league matches under Neville.
Valencia crashed out of the Champions League and Europa League under his management, and exited the Spanish Cup after an 8-1 aggregate thrashing by Barcelona.

Neville said: “I would like to thank Valencia Football Club, the fans, staff and the players.
“I would have liked to have continued the work I started but understand that we are in a results business and in the 28 games they have not been to my standards or to those which are required by this club.”
