Wheely bad: Moment limited edition Porsche rolled into river

IT'S what nightmares are made of.

And all you have to do is wait for it to be delivered to your door.
But one unlucky customer will have to hold out a little while longer after his limited edition set of wheels rolled into a river.

His car-dealer was left red-faced when the vehicle nosedived into an Amsterdam waterway after a mechanic slipped up.
The top-of-the-range Porsche 911 GT3 RS had just been dressed in a Gulf livery for its new owner when the employee put his foot down a little too enthusiastically.
A passer-by snapped the moment it hung in the balance half-off the river bank and posted it to Twitter — where it swiftly went viral.

It took around two hours to retrieve on Wednesday morning, according to local media.
Hans van der Valk, manager at the dealership, told local press: "The car was parked on the waterfront and a mechanic made a mistake when trying to get the vehicle.
"That is very unfortunate, but it can happen. When there are people, mistakes are made."
With a 500bhp engine, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS is capable of 0-62mph in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 193mph.
