Rhian Sugden slams Vernon Kay: 'A liar should have a good memory'

RHIAN Sugden appears to have launched a thinly veiled attack on Vernon Kay – branding him a "liar" online.

Taking to social media in the early hours of the morning, the blonde beauty shared a snap of Pinocchio along with the caption: "A liar should have a good memory. #TwoSides."

The apparent dig comes just hours after the former Radio 1 DJ responded to reports he has been secretly messaging Rhian behind his wife Tess Daly's back.

Opening up about the scandal, Vernon said: “I recognise how it may look when messages are pulled out of context but there was never any inappropriate intent to our communication.

"I was merely trying to find answers to questions I’ve had since 2010.”

The father-of-two nearly lost his marriage to Tess six years ago after he was caught sharing a string of X-rated messages with the Page 3 model.

Previously speaking out about their relationship, Rhian said: "We were all sat on a table together and I was drunk. I sat on my friend’s knee and grabbed his leg, which escalated to a text conversation later.
