A WRESTLER has been jailed after battering his porn star wife and threatening her with a knife.
Dean Powell, 36, assaulted Michelle Thorne and threatened her with a ten-inch blade when she tried to kick him out.
He also turned on the busty beauty's dad when he tried to intervene, head-butting him and leaving him with a nosebleed.
The fighter was "foaming at the mouth and deranged" but calmed himself down and made a cup of tea before his arrest, a court heard.
Powell grabbed her by the neck and dragged her to a room, wrestling a concerned mum out of the way, the court heard.
He again assaulted his wife when he visited her at their marital home in Mangotsfield, South Glos, and she asked him to leave.
He stamped on a PlayStation 3 game repeatedly before threatening to kill, arming himself with one knife in his sock and two more in his hands.
The prosecution described what Powell – who wrestled as Stefan Hard – did next.
"Ms Thorne said he was punching himself in the face," Howells told the court.
"He went to the kitchen, to a knife block, and took a knife with a ten-inch blade.
"He was pointing the knife around and saying 'You better stay away from me and do what you're told'."
It was then that Ms Thorne's father arrived on the scene and put Howell in a headlock, being head butted for his trouble.
Powell was sentenced to 28 months behind bars at Bristol Crown Court after admitting assaulting the porn star and her dad, Michael.
He also admitted threatening to kill Michelle, possessing a ten-inch kitchen knife and damaging property, as well as the assault on his wife from November.
Kathryn Sheridan, defending, said her remorseful client's time remanded in custody was life-changing for him and she pleaded for a suspended jail term.
But Judge Michael Roach told Powell: "You have pleaded guilty to these offences at the first available opportunity.
"I agree that you should receive maximum credit for the guilty pleas you offered. It was utterly disgraceful, out of control behaviour.
"These offences are so serious that they require an immediate prison sentence. It would be an affront to justice if any other form of sentence would be passed."
