Liverpool to face Man United in Europa

Liverpool will face Manchester United in the Europa League round of 16. Bloody heck.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds progressed to the last 16 of Europe’s secondary competition with a 1-0 win over German side Augsburg on aggregate, with James Milner’s penalty separating the two sides in the second leg at Anfield.
Manchester United suffered a scare in their tie with Danish minnows FC Midtjylland, losing 2-1 in the first leg and conceding the opening goal in the return leg at Old Trafford, but Louis van Gaal’s side eventually ran out comfortable 5-1 winners to advance.
United have won the previous four meetings against their bitter rivals, all of which have come in the Premier League. It will be the first European tie between the two clubs.
The other tie involving an English club pits Tottenham against Borussia Dortmund, who are the favourites to win the competition. Spurs beat Fiorentina over two legs to progress, while German side Dortmund, now managed by Thomas Tuchel after Klopp’s summer departure, beat Porto.
Gary Neville’s Valencia will take on Athletic Bilbao in an all-Spanish tie in the round of 16.
