16 + 6= 24? Nigeria's Finance Minister Fails Basic Arithmetic in Public
The Finance Minister of Nigeria, Kemi Adeosun, a former employee of the PriceWaterHouse Coopers in the United Kingdom has been involved in a public goof while making a defence of financial records before the Senate.
Kemi Adeosun
Social media users are currently making a mockery of Kemi Adeosun who failed in the calculation of simple figures involving the addition of N16 billion and N6 billion which she mistakenly calculated to be N24 billion rather than N22 billion.
She made the error while analyzing the unremitted revenue of examination bodies like the Joint Admission Management Board, JAMB, West African Examination Council, WAEC and National Examination Council, NECO that allegedly scooped N16 billion from the sale of exam materials and forms but declared a sum of N3 million.
The major problem in the video clip is that the senators listening to her speech couldn't correct the former Commissioner of Finance in Ogun state who also failed to realize her mistake as well.
