Early results from the field indicate that People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Senator David Mark is coasting to victory in the ongoing Benue South rerun senatorial elections.
Aside from Oju, Obi and pockets of polling stations in Ogbadibo LGA, Mark Is reported to be leading his opponent, Comrade Daniel Onjeh of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by a hardly surmountable margin in most of the other six local government areas of the zone.
Baring any last minute upset which is still possible, Senator David Mark is expected to be returned as Senator representing Benue South Senatorial zone of Benue State within the next 24 hours.
