KEVIN STEWART has penned a new four-year deal at Liverpool.
The Reds midfielder has impressed boss Jurgen Klopp since he was recalled from a loan spell at Swindon in January.
He had loan spells at Cheltenham and Burton last season before being sent to Swindon in the summer.
But Klopp called him back in January and he has featured in their four FA Cup ties this season against Exeter and West Ham as well as the Premier League clash with Aston Villa.
He is currently out of action with an ankle ligament injury picked up in training.
The midfielder is expected to be on the sidelines for up to five weeks.
But he has committed his future at the club until 2020 and it is believed there is an option for a further year.
