Dramatic Moment BBC Weather Presenter Faints Live on Air
A BBCNews weather presenter was left with few words as she fainted on live television while forecasting the weather putting his co-presenters on panic mode.
BBC weather presenter, Rachel Mackley fainted on air, just seconds after telling producers, ‘I’m so sorry, I’m going to faint.’
The 33-year-old mother-of-one who was advising viewers of the upcoming forecast for the south east of the country when she paused and began stumbling backwards before fainting.
The cameras quickly cut to the news hosts, Polly Evans and Rob Smith, who both looked concerned for their colleague as she uttered ‘I’m so sorry’ once again.
‘Quick, quick chaps,’ said Rob, motioning to Rachel and looking as if he was planning on jumping up to check on her himself.
‘We just need to have a check on Rachel there,’ said a shocked Polly.
The BBC South East news team later tweeted out that Rachel was ‘up on her feet and will be absolutely fine’, while both Polly and Rob confirmed the news.
‘She’s doing ok thanks – a bit shaken – but good now,’Polly told a concerned viewer.
