NO CONTACT: Manchester United have not been in touch about a deal for Felipe Anderson
The Brazilian was heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford during the January transfer window but no move materialised.
Yesterday, Italian website Calcio Mercato claimed Lazio president Claudio Lotito had saidAnderson would join United for £47m in the summer.
Lotito was quoted as saying: "I bought Felipe Anderson for €8m (£6.3m) [from Santos] and I've sold him on for €60m (£47m). Next season, he's going to Manchester United."
And Anderson's sister and representative Juliana Gomes backed up Lazio's statement, saying she had never spoken to United about a deal.
Gomes told Italian website Cittaceleste.it: “Lazio have already denied the report, and I know nothing. Felipe is still concentrated on being here.
“He works hard and his head is at Lazio. We are honoured to be linked with United, but they have never called.”
