Hernandez has been linked with a return to the Premier League, with Liverpool and Arsenal interested in the striker.
And Leverkusen chief executive Schade has revealed the German side will examine huge offers for their star man.
"As of today, we don't want to sell any player, we want to keep the team together and improve," Schade said to the Rheinische Post.
And Schade is hoping Champions League football next season will persuade the 27-year-old to stay.
"Hernandez has never said that he wants to leave. He feels comfortable because he knows he is appreciated," added the Leverkusen chief.
"If we reach the Champions League we have a very good chance of keeping him at the club."
