THE mother of Chris Brown's child has blamed his weed habit for their one-year-old baby's ill health.

Nia Guzman says her daughter Royalty has developed asthma following excessive exposure to the star's secondhand smoke.

The brunette insists the tot reeks of smoke when she is returned from visiting Chris, prompting her to also worry the 26-year-old's habit is spiralling out of control.

As a result, she has asked the courts to restrict the Turn Up The Music crooner's visitation rights and back the hiring of a full time nanny to supervise the child.

Nia has also asked the judge to consider subjecting the RnB hit maker to random drug checks and has demanded an increase in child support from $2,500 a month to $16,000.

Naturally Chris took to Instagram to dismiss the claims.

 

"I quit cigarettes on New Years. NO ONE smokes around my daughter," he wrote in a post he has since deleted.

He also speculated that the allegations were "a play to get some sort of increased income."

It's not the first time Chris has grappled with scandal this month.
 

Liziane Hutierrez recently claimed the star punched her and snatched her phone after she tried to get a picture with him.

But Chris rubbished the story in a shocking Instagram video, ranting: "I don't know this old-looking bitch. She probably came to my room and was too ugly to get in."
