Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian’s Miami Beach Hangout For Sale

The penthouse, which was occupied by the reality-television celebrities while they filmed ‘Kourtney & Khloé Take Miami,’ is seeking $5.9 million.

A Miami Beach penthouse once occupied by reality-television celebrities Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian will list for $5.9 million, according to listing agent Jeff Miller of Brown Harris Stevens.

The suite is on the top floor of the Hilton Bentley Miami/South Beach hotel, Mr. Miller said. The duo, who are sisters of fellow reality star Kim Kardashian, stayed in the penthouse for eight weeks in 2009 while filming “Kourtney & Khloé Take Miami,” according to Hilton Bentley General Manager John Laclé. They returned again in 2010 for the same amount of time, he said.

At the time, the penthouse was owned by the hotel and operated as a hotel room, with a nightly rate of roughly $2,000 to $5,000, Mr. Laclé said. He declined to specify the rate the Kardashians received for the penthouse, but said it was discounted. The Kardashians brought in furniture and décor for the shoot, he added.
In late 2010 the unit was purchased by its current owner, literary agent Esmond Harmsworth, who paid $3.6 million for it, according to public records. Mr. Harmsworth then gut-renovated the unit. “Basically I changed everything without moving walls,” he wrote in an email.

The penthouse has two terraces and a roof deck.

The 10th-floor penthouse has two bedrooms and measures about 1,880 square feet, with ocean views from nearly every room, Mr. Miller said. There are two terraces off the living room. A staircase leads to the 11th-floor private roof deck, where an infinity pool and Jacuzzi overlook the ocean. The unit is being sold fully furnished, Mr. Miller said.
While most of the units at the Hilton Bentley are hotel rooms, some are privately owned, and their owners can choose to make their units available to hotel guests, Mr. Laclé said. Mr. Harmsworth said he uses the condo as a vacation home two or three months a year, and frequently rents it out. Mr. Harmsworth said he’s selling because he’s moving to Europe.
Mr. Laclé said the show generated a significant amount of publicity for the hotel, and noted that fans often request to see the suite. “They just want to know that they were in the same room where the Kardashians were,” he said.

The sisters were not available for comment.
