Ferne McCann set to ditch Essex for Hollywood after landing acting role

FERNE McCann has landed a number of acting roles following her The Only Way is Essex exit.

JETTING OFF: Ferne McCann is set to appear in a Hollywood film later this year

The 25-year-old has had a whirlwind 2016 so far following her successful stint on last year's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

And although her reality show The Only Way is Essex has been accused of being scripted, she now really is giving acting a go.

Ferne told Star magazine she has not one, but two acting roles lined up.

She said: "I'm joining the cast of Gatsby for a month at the Union Theatre in London.

"It'll be my first experience of it so it's nerve-racking.

"Musical theatre is something I've always wanted to do, plus I'm still learning how to be a presenter and a reporter."

She added: "It's not as if I was handed the role – I had to audition like everyone else. I'm taking it seriously."

Vicky Pattison's friend also spilled the details about an upcoming Hollywood film that she scored a part in.

She said: "I'm doing a film at the end of the year but I can't say too much about it other than I'm so excited!

"I'll be going out to LA soon for more meetings.

"I'm really looking forward to it."

We hope the movie is an Essex-based story or that Ferne has had some lessons to ditch that thick accent.

But if acting doesn't go well, the stunner can fall back on bus driving after getting a bus driving licence.
