A MODEL who was savagely beaten up by a group of women last year continues to receive death threats months after her attackers were imprisoned.
Images taken by bystanders show a group of women surrounding Angie Silva, who they hit continually with their fists, stilettos and handbags.
The women beat their victim for several minutes, first on the pavement and then pushing her face down on a car bonnet.
The sickening thumps of the stiletto heels can be heard as they hit her body.
People outside the nightclub in Santiago de Guayaquil in Ecuador stand and watch without doing anything, and one man in a high-vis jacket approaches them but one of the women holds out her hand to stop him, saying: "Do not get involved."
Finally, the women run away as the authorities approach and Silva is left lying badly injured on the ground.
Following a court case, the attackers were jailed for attempted murder and have already carried out some months of their sentences.
However, the model has recently conducted a TV interview confirming that she still receives death threats from internet trolls who warn her she is going to "pay" for what she has done.
Silva showed her scars from the attack and says she is still undergoing reconstructive surgery for the injuries she sustained.
She said: "I have given screenshots of the threats to my lawyer, who will work with the authorities to investigate their source, but it leaves me very worried."
