David Beckham sends brilliant message to Marcus Rashford: Man United fans will love this

MANCHESTER UNITED legend David Beckham has written an inspirational message to Red Devils starlet Marcus Rashford.

YOUNG STAR: Man United ace Marcus Rashford

Beckham came through United's academy before winning a host of major honours, cementing himself as one of the club's all-time greats.

Rashford, another product of United's youth system, shot to fame last season, netting eight goals in first 18 games as a professional footballer.

That form earned him a call-up to England's Euro 2016 squad and he promptly scored just minutes into his international debut in a friendly against Australia in May.

Rashford has now revealed the message that ex-England captain Beckham has written to him.

The 18-year-old posted a snap on his official Instagram page of United's new away kit complete with Beckham's name and his former number.

And the message on the shirt read: "To Marcus, Good luck and continue working hard and playing with joy and passion. Love David Beckham.”

Rashford captioned the picture: "Nice to be appreciated by one of the best."
Rashford is busy gearing up for the new season where he will hope to impress new United boss Jose Mourinho.
The Red Devils face Leicester in the Community Shield on August 7 before kicking off their Premier League campaign away to Bournemouth a week later.
