RYAN GIGGS was pushed towards the Manchester United exit door after Jose Mourinho refused to speak to him.

United legend Giggs brought the curtain down on his glittering Old Trafford career last month.
He had been hoping to be part of Mourinho’s coaching team, but decided to quit when it became clear he wouldn’t be given a role he found acceptable.
But now it has emerged that Mourinho didn’t even contact Giggs after being appointed Louis van Gaal’s successor.
Starsport can reveal Giggs was left stunned when Mourinho failed discuss his future plans and a possible back room role for him.
It is understood the astonishing snub was the final straw for Giggs, who has now left his spiritual home to pursue a managerial career elsewhere.
Mourinho’s decision to snub Giggs will stun fans, who hold the Welshman in the highest esteem following his remarkable achievements at the club.
Giggs is the most decorated star in United’s history following 29 years there as a player, coach and caretaker-manager.
He won 13 league titles, two European Cups, four FA Cups and four League Cups and made a record 963 appearances.
Despite being overlooked for the manager’s job three times since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013, Giggs was still reluctant to sever all ties with United - until Mourinho made it clear he had no choice.
When Mourinho was appointed earlier this month he refused to apologise to Giggs for beating him to the job.

He said: “I never run away from my responsibility. The reality is that it is not my responsibility that Ryan is not in the club.
“The job Ryan wanted is the job the club decided to give me. It’s not my fault. Ryan wanted to be Manchester United manager and the owners decided to give the job to me."
Meanwhile, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been trying to butter up United target Paul Pogba over dinner.
New United striker Ibrahimovic was spotted dining recently with the Juventus midfielder in an LA restaurant.
United are prepared to shatter the world record with a £100m bid for Pogba.
Pogba said. “For the moment, I am here [Juventus] and I am happy here, but I don’t know where I want to go.”
