THE moment one of the suspected Dallas police shooting gunmen fires on a cop at close range is shown in a shocking video.

Two snipers have shot 11 cops and one civilian – killing four police – at a rally in protest at shooting of unarmed black men in Dallas, Texas.

Terrifying footage shows the gunman taking aim and firing what looks like an automatic rifle from behind a pillar.

The shooter – wearing what looks like a green jacket and light coloured trousers – then moves for the protection of another pillar.

A person who is believed to be an armed policeman comes up from behind, taking cover behind the first pillar.

But the gunman runs around the pillar and shoots the cop.

Bullets are raining down on the area – possibly from other police marksmen.
