Transfer News: Man United to spend £178m on Pogba, Arsenal in talks, Liverpool snubbed

STARSPORT brings you the latest news and transfer gossip from around the world.
Paul Pogba will cost Manchester United a mammoth £178m in the biggest transfer deal in history.
The Red Devils finally agreed a world-record £112m transfer fee with Juventus last night for the France midfielder to blow rivals Real Madrid out of the water.
But Starsport understands the 23-year-old has agreed a five-year contract worth £275,000-a-week adding another £66m to the overall cost.
Agent Mino Raiola has travelled to Italy to close the stunning deal that will make Pogba the most expensive footballer on the planet.
Arsenal are in talks with Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi, according to reports.
Sky Sports claim the Gunners have opened discussions with the 24-year-old - but no formal offer has been submitted yet.
Mustafi reportedly has a £42m buyout clause in his contract but the La Liga side are willing to let him leave for around £25m with £8.5m in add-ons.
The Gunners are desperate to sign a defender after PerMertesacker suffered a long-term knee injury.

Leicester starlet Ben Chilwell has put pen to paper on a new long-term deal with the Foxes.
The 19-year-old came through the ranks at the Premier League champions but has only made three appearances for the senior team, all in cup competitions.
And the defender had been on the radar of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp this summer.
The Reds were said to have bid £7m for the youngster last month but had their advances dismissed.
Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri said: "It’s fantastic news for us. Ben is a player with a big future and I am very happy that future will be with Leicester City."
