Liverpool ace's future in doubt: Jurgen Klopp's concerned about his attitude

MAMADOU SAKHO’S Liverpool future is in doubt after being sent home from their pre-season US tour.

Sakho started the trip badly by turning up late for their flight to America last week.
Boss Jurgen Klopp is also understood to have been concerned by Sakho’s general attitude around the training camp in California this week.
During a trip to Alcatraz in San Francisco Bay Sakho annoyed Klopp by interrupting him while he was giving an interview asking: “How long do you think you can live here?”
Klopp replied: “I don’t have to think about that - you should. Only one of us turned up late for departure from Liverpool. It was you.”
Yesterday he was on his way home again on the same Heathrow flight from San Francisco as full-back Brad Smith, who was heading for his medical at Bournemouth ahead of a £6m move.
Liverpool refused to comment on whether Sakho faces any further disciplinary action stating only that he will continue his rehabilitation on an Achilles’ injury at their Melwood training base.
But other injured stars such as Joe Gomez have stayed in America fuelling speculation there is a serious rift between Sakho and his manager.

Klopp wanted to keep the whole squad together – injured or otherwise – to build team spirit ahead of the new season.
The France defender will miss the start of the Premier League season anyway due to his injury but this is yet another blow in a turbulent few months for the 26-year-old.
He has not played since April after failing a drugs test following Liverpool’s Europa League win over Manchester United in March.
As a result he missed the Reds’ Europa League final defeat by Sevilla and Euro 2016, only to be subsequently cleared by UEFA.
