NEWCASTLE have accepted Liverpool's £25m bid for Georginio Wijnaldum.
He will then head to America to link up with his new team-mates if the deal goes through smoothly.
Jurgen Klopp's move comes after a £13m fee was agreed with Stoke for the sale of Joe Allen.
Wijnaldum is keen on joining Liverpool following the Newcastle's relegation from the Premier League.
The 25-year-old scored 11 times in 38 appearances last season but his goals could not prevent them sinking into the Championship.
Liverpool were left clear in the race to sign him after Tottenham pulled out of the chase earlier this week.
Mauricio Pochettino was keen to add Wijnaldum to his squad but agreed with Spurs chiefs that Newcastle's asking price was too high.
Estonia captain Ragnar Klavan yesterday completed his £4.2m move for Augsburg to follow Loris Karius, Sadio Mane and Joel Matip through the door.
January signing Marko Grujic linked up with his team-mates at the start of pre-season after spending the rest of last season on loan at former club Red Star Belgrade.
Liverpool jetted out to the USA this morning following last night's pre-season win against Huddersfield.
