Jurgen Klopp: That Liverpool win can only be described by one word


LIVERPOOL manager Jurgen Klopp described the 3-0 win over Manchester City using the word 'boom'.

The German believed the Reds were dominant in every aspect of the game and thoroughly deserved to avenge their Capital One Cup defeat at Wembley.
Goals from Adam Lallana, James Milner and Roberto Firmino sent the Anfield crowd home happyas they destroyed Manuel Pellegrini's men.
Klopp said: "It was the best half for sure of all our home games.
"The best word I could say that would describe this was... boom!

"Wow. What was this? It was really good to be honest. It showed us what these boys are capable of and it was a really good performance.
"We lost the final on Sunday and that's the truth so we should have showed that we were more greedy today for these three points.
"But especially our with situation in the Premier League we cannot waste time any more.
"We have to climb now and get points as we have so many important games in the next few weeks and only two tournaments left, but they're the most important tournaments.

The victory means Liverpool move up to eighth and are now just six points off the top four.
Their next challenge is a trip to Crystal Palace as they look to pile the pressure on Alan Pardew at Selhurst Park.
