PUT DOWN: Slovenian singer Klemen Slakonja wanted to take his entry to Eurovision
Slovenian singer Klemen Slakonja entered his country’s heats with a tune mocking the Russian president.
In the video for the song, which is called “Put-In Put-Out”, Slakonja dresses up as Putin, who is hated by Eurovision’s gay fans because of Russia’s laws against homosexuality.
The comedian is seen playing with a Putin-style Action Man doll, fighting with Jackie Chan and igniting farts with his lighter.

Later he sits bare-chested on a horse as Putin did in a series of candid shots in 2009.
And he is even seen planting the Russian flag on the surface of the Moon.
But though viewers found it funny, it failed to get the votes.
Instead Slovenians have chosen to send ManuElla singing Blue And Red to the song contest on May 14 in Stockholm.
