JAILED footballer Adam Johnson needs a speedy transfer from a sex offenders' wing to a general cell to avoid a bloody razoring in the shower, fellow prisoners have warned.
WARNING: Prisoners warn Johnson of razor hell
The ex-England and Sunderland winger has also been advised to avoid 'pulling any millionaire strops' behind bars.
His fall from grace and the ordeal he now faces has been discussed by inmates at teaching sessions inside prison.
One convicted killer said Johnson's best hope of emerging from his six-year jail sentence unscathed was that a 'real monster' was caged soon to take the heat off him.
PRISON: Johnson may be moved to maximum security Frankland jail in Co Durham
The 45-year-old inmate called Charles, who is near the end of a manslaughter sentence served in some of Britain's toughest jails, said he had witnessed a sex offender being slashed in the shower.

''But he'll be old news when a real monster arrives.''
Johnson was taken to Victorian Armley Prison in Leeds after he was jailed last week for kissing, grooming and groping a 15-year-old schoolgirl fan.
He could end up in maximum security Frankland jail in Co Durham alongside Ian Huntley, 42, who killed 10-year-old Soham schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, and Levi Bellfield, 47, who murdered 13-year-old Milly Dowler.
Psychiatrists say the footballer is suffering from 'hyper sexual disorder’ which compels him to seek out new ways of gratifying his lust.
His lawyer claimed Johnson did not target his teen victim 'because of her age' but despite it as he had what the judge described as a 'compulsive drive to have new sexual experiences’.
Another inmate Carl, 27, who is serving his 24th jail sentence this time for theft on license, said Johnson may have to be willing to fight.
CONVICTED: Johnson has to dodge jail shower razoring
''You'll get the odd knob trying to test him – probably some absolute fanny trying to make a name for himself,'' he said.
''But nothing he'd need to be scared of.
''Just slap the **** back and you'll be alright - problem solved.''
But James, 30, who is serving six years for a drugs conspiracy, said he would not mind sharing a cell with the footballer.
''It's not like he's a paedo,'' he said.
''If he gets stuck in, pulls his weight, helps out with fitness and gym, he'll be treated like any other t**t in here.''
