A staggering video shows the creepy 65-year-old parading his child bride in front of a busy city square.
The pensioner can be seen hugging the 12-year-old dressed in white and grinning ear-to-ear.
But as the photographer snaps the couple in Time Square, New York, crowds begin to gather.
Many are left open-mouthed watching the photoshoot.
Eventually citygoers begin to intervene — with one woman pulling the child away from the pensioner.
The man assures the crowd: "I have permission from her parents".
Disgusted, one young man threatens to call the police.
He shouts: "That is not legal.
"She doesn’t want to be married. This is bulls***.
"If we called the cops you know you’d get locked up so you know this isn’t right.
"You can’t do this to a little girl."
Girls can legally marry from the age of 12 in Massachusetts, US, with their parent’s permission.
But thankfully, this was a hoax put on by YouTuber Coby Persin.
The filmmaker is campaigning for the plight of young girls around the world who are frequently married to older men against their will.
About 33,000 girls are married as children every day across the world, he claims in the video.
And according to the United Nations more than 1.2 bllion will be forced into child marriage by 2050.
