JON FLANAGAN is set to undergo a medical at Burnley this weekend.
MEDICAL: Liverpool are happy to let Jon Flanagan leave on loan
The Liverpool defender has agreed to join the Premier League new boys on a season-long loan.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche hopes to confirm a deal for Flanagan, 23, in the coming days, according to the Daily Mail.
Flanagan is looking for a run of games after missing most of the past two seasons with a knee injury.
Jurgen Klopp is a fan of the Liverpool academy graduate but cannot guarantee him regular action this season.
Flanagan was handed a new three-year deal in March but faces competition at right-back from Nathaniel Clyne while Klopp is on the hunt for a left-back to challenge Alberto Moreno.
The 23-year-old broke into Liverpool's first team during their title charge in the 2013/14 campaign.
He was dubbed 'the Scouse Cafu' and received praise from the Brazil legend.
Burnley have completed just two signings since earning instant promotion back to the Premier League - winger Johann Berg Gudmundsson and keeper Nick Pope both arrived from League One side Charlton.
