Paul Pogba confirms he will make second Manchester United debut tonight

PAUL POGBA has confirmed he will make his second debut for Manchester United tonight.

SECOND DEBUT: Paul Pogba says he will feature for United tonight against Southampton

The midfielder returned to United last week for a world record fee of £89m, four years after leaving the club for Juventus.

And he will make his first appearance against Southampton tonight at Old Trafford.

Pogba tweeted: "Manchester x Southampton. Hot for tonight's debut."

The France international made just seven senior appearances during his first spell with the Red Devils before leaving at the end of his contract in July 2012.
He was unable to make his debut in Sunday's win over Bournemouth due to suspension.
Jose Mourinho said yesterday he was ready to play Pogba but the 23-year-old is unlikely to last the full 90 minutes.
"We played with some players against Leicester with less training than Paul," Mourinho said.

"We had guys coming back from the Euros, who were on holidays, had one week of training and they played against Leicester (in the Community Shield), not at the top of their game, not ready for 90 minutes.
"Paul has been training for more than a week, around 10, 11 days, adaptation is really easy because he is a boy from here, he knows the club, he knows everybody. There's no need for time to adapt.
"He needs time to build his condition and his understanding in the way the team tries to play. Yes, he's ready to play. Ninety minutes? I don't believe.
"Super performance? I don't believe. But in condition to accelerate his process of integration in the team, that's for sure."
