Joe Hart playing for Manchester CityRAGING: Hart reckons he'll struggle to find a new team this late in the window
The England No.1 looks likely to be replaced at the Etihad by Barcelona keeper Claudio Bravo, who will join City before the transfer window slams shut next week.
And apparently the 29-year-old believes Pep Guardiola had decided to axe him from his squad before the end of last season.
The Daily Mail say Hart reckons Guardiola has severely damaged his chance of signing with another club by revealing his decision so late in the transfer window.
Hart has yet to play this season as backup Willy Caballero has started every game for City so far.
The Mail’s report says Hart has told his friends that City didn’t reveal they were moving on from him as they were afraid it would make clubs up the asking price for their top keepers.
And the former Shrewsbury player only discovered he wasn’t likely to be first choice when he turned up to pre-season training after a disastrous Euro 2016 campaign.
Hart’s been linked with a year-long loan move to Everton, although the Toffees seem to have balked at his £135,000-a-week wage demands.
Liverpool also have been cited as a potential landing spot as current No.1, Simon Mignolet, was repeatedly called into question last season.
The Mail note Hart could be tempted by a move abroad as long as he’s guaranteed first-team football.
