The Reds boss has already welcomed seven new faces to Anfield, the latest of which was Holland international Georginio Wijnaldum.
But speaking after his side’s 4-0 thrashing of La Liga champions Barcelona, he indicated he may need to add further to his £70m-plus pre-season outlay.
Versatile Liverpool ace James Milner suffered an injury in the Wembley clash and Klopp said any further fitness worries could make him spend again.
"It [James Milner's injury] doesn't look too good," Klopp told The Daily Mirror. "It is something on the heel, we're not too sure.
”I’m happy with the squad but on the injury side if something happens then you react. In positions which are not too good for us.

"Until something is possible for us why should I say it’s over or we’ll take another four [signings]? We have the possibility to react if needed."
The Reds begin their 2016/17 Premier League campaign against Arsenal next Sunday, August 14.
But Klopp faces being without Milner, who could potentially be added to an injury-list which already includes Mamadou Sakho, Loris Karius, Lucas Leiva and Joe Gomez.
