RIYAD MAHREZ claims Leicester’s amazing title win was a one-off and says the aim this season is just to keep pace with the top four.
But the Foxes star, who has been linked with a move all summer, also insists there are only three clubs in the whole world who could turn his head.
Leicester were brought crashing down to earth after losing the opening game of their title defence against newly-promoted crisis club Hull.
And Mahrez conceded: “You are always having to prove yourself. Now, people are expecting things from us.
ONE AND DONE: Mahrez reckons Leicester won't win the league again
“We will have to respond. Because nobody will do us any favours if we mess up our first matches.
“Aside from that, we know that Leicester will not win the league again, we are not Manchester United orChelsea.
“But, success would look like becoming part of the group of solid clubs in the Premier League consistently.”
But he admitted it could be a different story if the likes of Barcelona or Real Madrid came calling, adding: “There are two or three clubs in the world, that if they come for me, it definitely makes you think, if you understand what I am trying to say.”
Mahrez was voted PFA Player of the Year last season but claims he is now dreaming of one day winning the Ballon d’Or.
He said: “You only have to look at its history, it the trophy that rewards the best player in the world.
“When we were young and we would play with our friends, we dreamt about it. It is important to have dreams. Aside from that, it is true that I barely dreamt about winning the Premier League so…”
