CLAUDIO BRAVO has told Barcelona he wants to leave for Manchester City, according to reports.
The goalkeeper has been linked with a move to the Etihad with Pep Guardiola thought to be a big fan of the 33-year-old.
And now Sky Sports journalist Guillem Balague has claimed the Chile international has told club bosses he wants to leave the Camp Nou.
Although the transfer may be delayed because of an injury suffered by Barcelona’s second-choice keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
The 24-year-old, who’s started all of Barca’s cup and European fixtures over the last two years, will step into the first team role if Bravo leaves.
Ter Stegen’s expected to be out for three weeks with a knee problem, which could push any transfer right to the end of the window.
City are thought to be willing to pay £14m for Bravo.
Barca star Javier Mascherano has revealed he hopes the goalkeeper will stay at the club.
